A comfortable fit starts with the measurements of the exact sunglasses you are considering. Use the dimensions shown for your selected model and variant, expressed in millimeters (mm), and compare them with a pair that already fits you well.
Understand the measurements
- Frame width: the overall width across the front of the frame. Compare the same measurement method on both pairs.
- Lens width: the width of one lens on a two-lens frame. A single shield lens may instead list overall lens or shield width; these measurements are not interchangeable.
- Bridge or nose opening: the space around the nose area. Bridge design and nose-pad shape also influence how the frame sits.
- Temple length: the length of the arms. Check any model-specific adjustment information before changing their position.
- Frame or lens height: the vertical measurement, useful for comparing how much space the frame occupies on your face.
Adult and smaller fits
Compare adult models such as Original 2.0, Slammer, and Try-Hard separately from Junior, Admirer Junior, and Baby Vipes. Model families and age labels are starting points, not a guarantee of fit. Do not assume that every adult frame, or every children's frame, shares the same dimensions.
Check before ordering
The frame should feel stable without pinching at the temples or nose. Check the selected variant's measurements and included adjustment instructions. Sunglasses Care Guide
Follow the care instructions supplied with your particular sunglasses and lens variant. Different lens finishes can require different treatment, so check those instructions before using any cleaner.
Clean gently
Use a clean, soft microfiber cloth or the Pit Viper Limpcloth where supplied. Keep the cloth free from grit and avoid rubbing dust or sand across the lenses. Do not use a shirt, paper towel, or a rough or sandy towel to wipe them.
Avoid alcohol-based solutions, solvents, bleach, household cleaning products, and abrasive cleaners. Do not assume that dish soap or a general-purpose lens spray is suitable for every coating. Use a cleaning product only when it is recommended for your specific lenses.
Store with care
Keep sunglasses in a protective case when they are not being worn. When setting them down, fold the arms and keep the lenses facing upward to avoid contact with hard surfaces. Store them away from extreme temperatures, including hot vehicle interiors.
Check their condition

Are all lenses polarized?
